Tiara Oriental Hotel Guest Reviews

:-( “In short, this is a hotel for Asian bus tour groups. Not a cockroach in sight. More than clean enough. Bathroom incredibly slippery when wet, meaning they chose the cheap tiles .. which pretty much sums up this place.” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-) “Large room for good price, good air conditioning.” Guest review from www.agoda.com

:-) :-( “We stayed two nights at the Tiara Oriental and enjoyed our stay there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were large and clean, but the breakfast was rather poor. We were promised breakfast vouchers when checking in” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-( “No hot water! Despite complaining for 4 days, all they front desk personnel did was a reassurance but nothing happened! COCKROACHES are everywhere. While sleeping, these roaches will wake you up by the crawling under your sheets! I requested the front desk for a wake-up call at 6:30am but the phone rang to wake me up only at 7:15am.” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-) “We chose this hotel due the close location to Makati Medical Center, only 5-10 minute walk. Had a deluxe room, very spacious and clean, looked recently renovated. Hotel staff very courteous, on par with staff at some 5 stars we have stayed at. Restaurant average, just stick to breakfast (it was included with our booking). Mini bar prices reasonable” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-) “I was treated my husband to stay in this nice hotel as it is very near to walk to the UK Visa Application Office. The staff are helpful and friendly and approachable. The place is just about 30 mins to the airport by taxi and they can call a taxi for you.” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-( “Stayed for 11 nights last October 2007, staying in a De luxe room. Constant hammering from renovation from the room next door stating from 8:30 am. during my entire stay. Cockroaches everyhere coming from the toilet and even from the hallway, even in daylight. Terrible access to Wifi cards from reception staff, only selling P480 and P960 Wifi cards…” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-) “As a frequent international traveler, the rooms are nice enough but obviously worn. I stay in the junior suites, a better bet and quieter. I’ve stayed in 3 different suites, upper floors are best. After 20 hours via plane though, the beds are too stiff and uncomfortable for a good rest. Hotel food is average and there is not a…” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-) “Tiara Oriental is a 3 star with excellent location. Located just about a minute’s walk from the busy crossing of Sen. Puyat avenue, it manages to be nestled in a quiet semi residential corner. The rooms are fine, though some have roaches (!). The hotel has 12 floors with about 10 rooms in each floor.” Guest review from www.tripadvisor.com

:-) “Apart from the closeness to Ayala shopping district this hotel is best at average.” Guest review from www.agoda.com

:-) “Takes 15 minutes by cab to get to Ayala. We chose this hotel because the rate is reasonable.” Guest review from www.agoda.com

:-( “There is wireless internet at a very high price-you purchase cards at the reception. I paid 480 pesons for 4 hours (valid for 36 hours from start time). However, the internet speed was good.” Guest review from www.virtualtourist.com

:-) “It’s a first class hotel in Makati although you need to take a short cab ride to hit the malls or dining places. The hotel is in a quiet street behind one of Makati’s busiest streets, Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. The price is very reasonable for the quality of rooms and the amenities.” Guest review from www.virtualtourist.com

:-) “If one has been to Manila, traffic is the foremost thing which comes to mind. The location of this hotel in Makati is ideal to get away from all the noise of the city and the autos passing by. Excellent service, pro-active attitude of the employees. A cosy nightclub to wind down. The restaurant too is quite and very nice.” Guest review from www.hotelclub.com

:-) “Tiara Oriental is a fairly new hotel and the rooms are very clean. Their rates are fair and offers excellent value. I felt very comfortable during my stay and had a nice experience. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Next time I”m in the Philippines, I”ll stay at Tiara Oriental again and I will definitely recommend Tiara to all my friends and relatives.” Guest review from www.hotelclub.com

:-) :-( “Well, cleanlines is superb but I noticed the Front Desk staff needs more training on customer service and I highly recommend them to smile more, than make faces when it comes to guest who are not English conversant. Definitely, I will recommend them to a friend.” Guest review from www.hotelclub.com

:-( “This isn”t a 4 star hotel. This is a cockroach motel. Bed cover had blood stains too.” Guest review from www.hotelclub.com

:-) :-( “For short stay this hotel offers convenience and comfort. The staff are friendly but the restaurant food needs improvement.” Guest review from www.hotelclub.com

:-) “The Tiara Oriental is a very well-managed hotel and, considering the price, the facilities and service provided are excellent. This was a return visit for me, and I was not disappointed.” Guest review from www.hotelclub.com
